U.S. Rep. Subramanyam Launches Reelection Campaign, Endorsed by Former Rep. Wexton and U.S. Senators Warner and Kaine

Ashburn, VA – Today, January 12, former VA-10 Representative Jennifer Wexton, U.S. Senator Mark Warner, and U.S. Senator Tim Kaine endorsed U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam for reelection in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

Former Rep. Jennifer Wexton said, “I’m excited to endorse Suhas in his re-election campaign. Suhas has been working nonstop for our district, delivering millions of dollars back to constituents and funding important local community projects. He has done an exceptional job assisting constituents in times of need and uplifting their voices. I know he will continue to do a great job when Democrats win a majority in the next Congress.” Wexton flipped the 10th Congressional District from red to blue in 2018 and served in Congress until 2025.

U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, the top of the ticket for Democrats in Virginia this year, said, “Suhas has effectively pushed back on the corruption of the Trump administration as a member of the Oversight Committee. His commitment to standing up for Virginians and holding this administration accountable is why I am proud to endorse his campaign for reelection–I look forward to campaigning together.”

“Suhas Subramanyam is laser-focused on lowering costs and standing up to the Trump Administration’s efforts to drive our economy into the ground, kick federal workers around, and rip health care away from millions of families. I’m proud to endorse Suhas in his race to continue putting Virginians first and getting things done for his constituents,” U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine said.

Rep. Subramanyam said, “Over the past year, I have fought back against the Trump Administration’s attacks on our community when he took away healthcare, food, and jobs from Virginians. I am excited to continue serving in Congress and pave the way for a Democratic majority that will protect our democracy, end the rampant corruption, and lower costs for Virginians.”

Rep. Subramanyam has earned a reputation of being one of the most responsive members of Congress. In his first 100 days in office, he held a town hall in every county of Virginia’s 10th district. To date, his office has sent over 48,000 letter and email responses, successfully resolved over 2,000 constituent cases, and returned over $3 million to constituents.

Rep. Subramanyam has introduced 19 bills, many of which are bipartisan, signed onto over 500 bills and letters, and has secured over $15 million in funding for local projects.

Rep. Subramanyam’s election was one of the most competitive races in 2024, and holding this seat is crucial to Democrats' effort to take back the House in 2026.
